One-tap connect
Start in the app's settings or straight from a run summary. Authorization happens on Strava's own page — RightRep never sees your Strava password.
RightRep keeps a short integrations list on purpose: one connection that ships today — Strava, with the narrowest permission that works — and health platforms that sit on the public roadmap, clearly labeled as not shipping yet. No sync-everything pipes. No reading your data back.
Connect once, send per session. The permission is write-only and the disconnect is real.
Start in the app's settings or straight from a run summary. Authorization happens on Strava's own page — RightRep never sees your Strava password.
The connection requests exactly one scope: activity:write. RightRep can create activities for you — it cannot list, read or change anything already in your Strava account.
Nothing uploads in the background. After a run or walk, Send to Strava on the summary screen uploads that session — one tap, one session. If you never tap, nothing ever goes.
The access token lives in the OS secure storage — the iOS Keychain or the Android Keystore. Disconnecting revokes it on Strava's side and clears it from the phone in the same tap.
The upload is a GPX activity: your route points with timestamps and the session's name. Not your camera feed, not your form videos, not your nutrition log — the Strava integration carries the GPS track and nothing else.
The connection is part of the app for every RightRep user — no extra subscription unlocks it. Your Strava account itself follows Strava's own terms.
| RightRep ↔ Strava | Does it |
|---|---|
| Upload the GPS track of a run or walk | ✓ Yes — when you tap Send |
| Name the activity from your session | ✓ Yes |
| Read your Strava activities or profile | — Never (write-only scope) |
| Upload without you tapping Send | — Never |
| Keep the token after you disconnect | — Revoked and deleted |
The one scope requested is activity:write — create activities, read nothing.
Three steps, and the last one is yours to take.
Run or walk with RightRep's GPS tracker — distance, pace and the route are recorded on the phone, even with the screen locked.
The summary screen shows your distance, pace and route map. Camera-analyzed runs add stride cadence — that detail stays inside RightRep.
Tap Send to Strava and the session lands as an activity carrying the full GPS track. First time? The same button starts the connection flow.
The next integrations, in build order. Each one is planned write-first: workouts flowing out to your health record, not your health history flowing in.
Writing workouts and GPS sessions into Apple Health on iOS, so the apps that read your health record see the training you did in RightRep. Planned — not shipping yet.
The Android counterpart: workouts written to the system health store other apps read from. Planned — not shipping yet.
End a session, adjust rest, log water, start and stop runs — from the wrist, while the phone does the measuring. Planned — not shipping yet.
No dates promised. The roadmap lives in the public issue tracker, and this page will only say "today" about an integration that has actually shipped.
The questions people actually ask about connecting an app to another app.
Yes — it's part of the app for every RightRep user, on every plan including the free one. No extra subscription unlocks it. Your Strava account itself follows Strava's own terms.
No. The connection requests one scope, activity:write: RightRep can create activities for you, and that is all. It cannot list, read or change anything already in your Strava account — not activities, not profile, not gear.
No. Uploads are per-session and you start them — Send to Strava on the run summary. Nothing uploads in the background, and if you never tap, nothing ever leaves the phone through this integration.
A GPX activity: route points with timestamps and the session's name. Not your camera feed, not your form videos, not your nutrition data — those never travel through the Strava integration.
In the app's settings, Strava → Disconnect. The token is revoked on Strava's side and deleted from the phone in the same tap. Sessions already uploaded stay on Strava as normal activities — they're yours there.
The connection arrives with app version 1.0.14 — the Android beta typically leads and the iOS store build follows review. If you don't see the Strava card in settings yet, update the app.
Run tracking with live broadcasting, walking gait analysis and the Strava hand-off — the features page puts the whole Move group in context.
The changelog lists every public release, newest first — integrations appear there the day they ship, not before.
If there's a service you'd want RightRep to connect to, tell us — the roadmap is shaped by what users actually ask for.
