The questions people actually ask before choosing.
Is Gym WP actually free — what's the catch?
The download is free and the floor is thin, and their own reviewers name it: "*Tudo é pago*" (iOS BR, Feb 2025 — the developer's reply: "*Para manter o aplicativo sempre atualizado e com qualidade, oferecemos a versão Premium*") · "you can only do one custom workout, everything else is locked" (Play) · the limited-free-version complaint that 151 Play readers marked helpful (Apr 2025). Above the floor, the BR iOS list prints ten entries — "Premium Mensal" R$ 34,90 and R$ 19,90 · "Premium Trimestral" R$ 74,90 · "Premium Anual" R$ 149,90 ×2 and R$ 179,90 ×5 (the same door name at two prices, stated as the residue it is); the US list is uniform: $9.99 ×2 · $23.99 · $59.99 ×7; Play prints "Compras no app" with no prices (all reads 2026-10-01, full prices only — this page never divides an annual door by twelve). RightRep's split: the camera, GPS, plans and 10 meal estimates a day free forever — the AI features behind a 7-day free trial then Pro at $9.99/month or $99.99/year.
What about the muscle recovery system — doesn't RightRep need that?
Gym WP's recovery model is real and this page concedes it as their column: "*Veja quais músculos já estão recuperados* · *Evite o overtraining e as lesões*" — per-muscle fatigue states with widgets, fed by the diary; no other app this program has covered ships one. RightRep ships no recovery model today (the measured-volume version is recorded backlog, not shipped behavior — this page does not sell roadmap). The honest seam between the two: their model reads self-reported entries — every series is what the user typed — while RightRep's history is built off reps the camera counted and scored. Which muscles are recovered, computed from observed work, is where the two products' best columns meet; today, theirs is shipped and ours is not, and the page says exactly that.
I already have a ficha from my personal — which one?
Gym WP was built for exactly that sheet — "*inserir sua ficha de treino criada pelo Personal Trainer*" is a listed feature, and the app's origin story is the paper ficha itself ("*precisavam carregar fichas de papel por toda a academia*"). If the plan already exists and the job is carrying it, logging it, and reading recovery off it, Gym WP does that today and this page does not pretend otherwise. RightRep answers a different question: not "carry the sheet" but "watch the set" — the camera counts and scores each repetition against readable form rules, spoken cues mid-rep, a per-rep history no diary can reconstruct. The two even compose: film the sets your professor programmed. What the ficha cannot do is verify itself.
What does each actually cost?
Gym WP: free floor ≈ registration and one custom workout (their reviewers' words, quoted); BR iOS ten entries — "Premium Mensal" R$ 34,90 and R$ 19,90 · "Premium Trimestral" R$ 74,90 · "Premium Anual" R$ 149,90 ×2 and R$ 179,90 ×5; US iOS $9.99 ×2 · $23.99 · $59.99 ×7; Play "Compras no app," no prices printed (App Store IAP lists, 2026-10-01). TechTudo's 2025-01-02 read priced premium at "R$ 119,99 por ano" — price history with its date, never blended into the current pins. RightRep: live form checks (10/day), GPS runs, training plans, history, the exercise library and 10 photo-AI meal estimates a day free forever; the AI features ride the 7-day free trial every account starts with, then Pro at $9.99/month or $99.99/year — one door. This page never divides an annual door by twelve and never blends US and BR figures.
I'm in Brazil — which one?
Start with what's conceded: this is the BR-native logger — 24,300 BR ratings @ 4.78 at №40 of the top-free Saúde e Fitness chart (2026-10-01), rating-base-for-rating-base with Hevy's own 24,552 BR (same-day lookup), Play at 5 mi+ de downloads · 4,7 · 141 mil avaliações, seated by TechTudo's "7 apps de treino de academia" roundup (Jan 2025) beside GymRats, NTC and Hevy — o app mineiro que empatou com a Hevy em casa.
Who sees my data?
Their Play data-safety card, quoted as it reads: data shared with third parties; personal info, health & fitness and more collected; "Os dados não são criptografados"; "Você pode solicitar a exclusão dos dados" — deletion by request, not a button. The privacy policy (LEAL APPS LTDA, Belo Horizonte-MG, in force since 11/07/2024) names the vendor list: Google Play Services, AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, Crashlytics, Facebook, One Signal. RightRep runs live pose analysis on the device — the live-check video is not uploaded — the camera works before any account exists, and export and delete are in-product. One age-floor note, reported as drift and never resolved by us: Play Livre · US iOS 9+ · BR iOS A12 "com verificação de idade e controles no app," against a policy that disclaims under-13s and terms that demand 18+.
