Same name, many prices, is a paywall A/B-ing itself in public. The AI plan as the front door — the closest coach-positioning collision in the queue

"Plano Personalizado com IA" is the first feature line, the algorithm "ajusta suas séries, repetições, intervalos e progressão de carga. Com periodização estruturada e sobrecarga progressiva" — and the third selling reason names the role: "Como um personal trainer no seu bolso." Where the row-5 family sells libraries and Gym WP sells the ficha, Befit sells the service of planning, in PT-BR-first copy ("Sem achismos," "Consistência + dados = resultados"). This page describes their generator in their words and never grades the model — the collision it argues is planning versus observing, not AI versus AI.

Set-type vocabulary that speaks the lifter's language

A data-safety posture printed better than its neighbors

The Play data-safety sheet states "Os dados são criptografados em trânsito" and "Você pode solicitar a exclusão dos dados" — against row 17's rival listing printing "Os dados não são criptografados" for the same category. That's Befit, and as a BR-native plan generator it is the rocket of the category. A coach that watches — counting, scoring, adapting — with the watching free forever? That's the half the questionnaire never reaches: the plan says what to do; nothing in it observes the set itself.

Both ship AI — what's the actual difference?

Planning versus observing — never model versus model, and this page makes no claim about their model's quality. Befit's AI is a plan generator: "considera seus objetivos, nível de experiência, equipamentos disponíveis e perfil de treino… ajusta suas séries, repetições, intervalos e progressão de carga," with automatic adjustment announced "em testes" (developer reply, Sept 2026). What it never sees is a rep: no surface claims camera, pose, rep counting or form feedback (verified 2026-10-01).
